Triumph TR4A IRS

The Triumph TR4 was introduced in 1961. Code named "Zest" during development; the car was based on the chassis and drivetrain of the previous TR sports cars, but with a modern Michelotti styled body. 40,253 cars were built during production years. The new TR4 body style did away with the classical cutaway door design of the previous TRs to allow for wind-down windows and the angular rear allowed a boot with considerable capacity for a sports car.

A classic British Sports car that sits proud with its eye catching lines that flow from front to back. Probably the best looking Triumph made ...... in our opinion!

The car is powered by the 2.2 litre 4 cylinder engine with stainless steel exhaust. The gearbox gives it total flexibility both on the open road and the mountain passes as well as town based driving where the balance to a wide torque and power band can be fully appreciated.

Inside the walnut dash adds style to this classic sports car from the 1960s - a real head turner both in looks and sound! A pleasure to drive.
