Jaguar MKII 3.8L

The Jaguar Mk II when launched was the new flagship in the mid-sized saloon line up and it certainly proved popular and profitable for Jaguar.

The Jaguar Mk II was the only Jaguar launched that came close to the status of the iconic Jaguar E-Type.

The model was produced from 1959 through to 1969. They were offered with a 2.4, 3.4 or 3.8-litre version of the famous six-cylinder XK engine.

Our car is finished in Gun Metal and sits on chrome wire wheels with a brown leather interior and Wilton carpets. It also boasts a lovely period walnut veneered dashboard.

He is one of the 30,141 from the 3.8 litre production run, he has manual transmission with overdrive making it a great driving car for the enthusiast. The 3.8 litre engine produced 220 horsepower and was capable of 0-to-60 in just 8.5 seconds and the top speed is 125 mph.

The Jaguar Mark II saloons are as much at home on the racing circuit as they are on country roads.
